- Gently fold in the included chocolate chips (if not already mixed in) until evenly distributed.
- Shape the Cookies:
- For Drop Cookies:
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Use about one tablespoon of dough per cookie for standard sizing.
- Gently press down each scoop with the back of a spoon or your fingertips to flatten slightly.
- For Rolled and Cut-Out Cookies:
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Place the chilled dough between two sheets of parchment paper.
- Roll out to your desired thickness, typically about 1/4 inch.
- Use cookie cutters to create your favorite shapes.
- Transfer the cut-out cookies to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- For Drop Cookies:
- Bake:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Baking times may vary depending on your oven and cookie size; keep an eye on them to prevent overbaking.
- Cool:
- Remove the cookies from the oven.
- Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
