Baking Instructions
What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) molasses
Directions:
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix It Up:
- Empty the Molasses Cookie Mix into a large bowl.
- Add the softened butter and molasses.
- Stir until everything is fully combined into a smooth dough.
- If the dough feels a bit dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it comes together.
- Shape the Cookies:
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Use about one tablespoon of dough per cookie for standard sizing.
- Space them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
- Bake:
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until the edges are set. The centers may still be slightly soft—that’s perfect.
- Cool Down:
- Remove the cookies from the oven.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
